Northern lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are a beautiful natural phenomenon that can inspire many to create art.
This painting of Northern Lights with mountains i try to depict the natural phenomenon of aurora borealis shining above a mountainous landscape. The Northern Lights would be depicted with their signature green colors, dancing and pulsating in the night sky. The mountains is depicted as rugged and majestic, with snow-capped peaks and hearth formed lake at the middle. The painting would convey a sense of awe and wonder at the beauty of the natural world.
I have chosen to use acrylic paints because of their quick drying time and versatility. Choosing to use canvas board is also a great surface to paint on as it provides a solid base and the texture of the canvas can add depth to the artwork.
I use acryl paying on a canvas board. Size on board is 16*13 or 41*33cm. Will fit nicely in a smaller space on a wall. Canvas board Acryl paint
