The Artist

Hello.

My name is Stig Ingvar Helstrøm, and I’m the artist of this site.

Even though my main interest is to paint, I have also started to work with digital art to use as prints and hopefully sell as NFT.
My favorite motives are landscape with the Northern lights, and I enjoy abstract painting where I can mix colors.

I have no education within art; I’m self-taught, but I’ve attended some weekend courses and online course.

I really enjoyed drawing as a child, but as I became older, I lost the interest. Sometimes I watched films about drawing/painting, but without having the greatest interest in it.
At one point I realized that life had to have more to it then what it already had, and I decided to get back into the artistic world which I am very happy I did because the joy I felt as a child came back to me.
